RMMS is a grades 1-6 magnet school committed to respecting cultural diversity, empowering all learners, and developing compassionate people who take responsibility for making positive changes in our society. 

The application period for the 2025-2026 school year is open from January 1 to March 31, 2025!

To apply, students must be a resident of Connecticut and entering grade 1-6 in the 2025-2026 school year. 

There is an application process and lottery system for acceptance into RMMS.  All students applying must submit an application.  Students are accepted using a computer-based online lottery system.

Southeastern Connecticut Magnet Schools are committed to serving military families and their children. RMMS is dedicated to helping highly mobile families who transfer to the region following the regular application period. If you are moving to the area or receive transfer orders to the Connecticut Submarine Base or the Coast Guard Academy and are interested in learning more about our school, please call the school at (860) 437-7775.
