It started with students watching the performance of Barynya, Russian music, dance and song ensemble from New York. Click here to view photos of some of the highlights of their performance.
After the concert the students from the four Russian classes rotated through the four stations to learn more about the Russian language, culture, literature and traditions. Two of the stations were devoted to the Maslenitsa celebrations (Russian Pancake Week), one of the most popular Russian holiday.
