My name is Susan Hafler, but my students call me Miss Susan. I started at RMMS as an intern with Mr. Hugh when I was finishing my Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Language from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT. That was in 1999, and apart from a year in California teacher middle school ESOL, I've been at RMMS ever since!

I'm originally from Pennsylvania, and enjoy cycling, reading, traveling and spending time with my husband and our son. Teaching is more than a career for me; it is a passion. I learn something every day from my students about learning, teaching and living. I was recognized as RMMS Teacher of the Year for 2011-12 and work hard to live up to the honor.

Miss Maria Souffront is an Instructor who works with my class and with our neighbor bilingual class, Miss Liz. She's a great help to us in so many ways!
